The FairChanceFoundation was created to make a positive impact for children between the ages of 5 and 15 who live in underfunded and underserved communities across the United States. For too long, state and local governments as well as many in the private sector have voiced their opinions and debated who is responsible for solving such issues as:
How to provide consistent access to quality education and opportunities for children from unstable family environments
How to ensure children from low-income households have access to basic necessities such as nutritious meals, appropriate clothing, and reliable shelter
How to empower at-risk youths to strive for and attain more vibrant, productive, and meaningful lives
The FCF believes that although it is important to care for and serve all populations in need, we are on a special mission to focus on children between the ages of 5 and 15. These are crucial years for developing the mindset, behavior, and identity of a successful adult. It is our belief that with the right tools and exposure, all children, regardless of economic circumstance, will have the opportunity to live extraordinary lives.
